The GU Uni-Jet TBT Bottom Tilt Keep is a critical component of the Gretsch-Unitas (GU) Uni-Jet ‘Tilt Before Turn’ (TBT) hardware system. It is sometimes also referred to as a ‘horizontal bottom bolt tip plate’ or ‘GU Uni-Jet Striker Plate’.

It’s designed to be mounted on the bottom horizontal frame (the sill) to receive the bottom locking bolt. In a TBT system, this part allows the window to safely tilt for ventilation before it can be fully turned open.
