We’ve listed four of the most common types of window handles likely to be fitted to your property.
Cockspur Window Handles are a type of window handle with an arm or nose that locks over the frame. Usually found on older UPVC windows and aluminium windows.
Espag Window Handles have a square spindle bar which protrudes from the back.
Tilt & Turn Window Handles can be opened normally and also tilt inwards.
Spaded Window Handles have a flat ‘spade’ or ‘blade’ which protrudes from the back.
