Finding the right window locks for uPVC windows can sometimes be a bit of a challenge. Luckily we can help you select the right type of lock. We have a selection of espag window locks available to buy online.
The first step when replacing a uPVC window lock is to identify the correct type of espag lock you require.
This is a one-piece lock that fits to the inside edge of a casement window. The mechanical part of the espag lock runs up the vertical length of the window frame and is operated by a handle. The rod is fitted with 2 or 3 pins known as ‘cams’ which lock into receivers on the window frame.
Make sure to check the backset size also, as shown:
Most espags use 'mushroom' cams, but some espags also have the option for 'Roller' cams
