I contacted DG Supplyline to find out if an original (30 year old) Espag window bar could be replaced. The original make was no longer available but DG recommended an alternative which it supplied – i.e., WMS 16mm Espag bar.
I had a certain amount of nervousness re’ ordering it for often replacement parts (for any job or task) don’t fit or else need a lot of fiddly effort to be made to fit. But not so with this WMS type. I merely unscrewed the original bar, piloted a few new holes in the uPVC and screwed on the new bar. Job done – brilliant.
