There are a few different types of door handle that can be fitted to a UPVC doors or composite door. Here are the most common types of handles for both UPVC and composite doors;
Lever-Lever door handles consists of a pair inline handles fitted to either side of the door.
Lever-Pad door handles have a lever handle on one side of the door and a paddle shaped handle on the other side of the door. If your paddle is fixed, your door has a key wind door lock. If your paddle handle can be moved, then you have a split or double spindle door lock.
Lever-Pull door handles have a lever on side and fixed handle on the other side of the door.
Before ordering a new door handle, it is important to know which type of handle you need to order and more importantly the PZ size. The PZ is a measurement in millimetres between the centre of the door handle spindle and the centre of the cylinder hole. Here is a door measurement diagram below.

PZ Size— the distance between the spindle centre and the centre point of the cylinder.
